Tanglewood Park is Wild!
Tanglewood Park is full of wildlife. Please be aware that in past years, venomous Copperhead snakes have been spotted in the rocks near our wooden bridge and some other rocky areas near the stream, their natural habitat. A very large non-venomous snake was spotted near the path, and it may be our friend- some species prey on Copperheads.
Please do not climb on the rocks near the bridge. They are not stable and serve to preserve the creek bank.
Hope you enjoy the Park! Have a happy and safe Summer!
