Bridge work and park update

                    
                        TCA Members,

We have been notified by John Royse of the Fairfax County Department of Public Works and Environmental Services that due to unforeseen site conditions, the park project will not be completed by the end of April (as previously planned) and that the Rhapsody access will not be reopened until June 30, 2017.  

I anticipate the restoration of the park won't be completed until July.  

On the front page of the TCA website (http://www.tcavienna.org) the notification from Fairfax County explaining in detail the reason for the delay is posted.   One of the major reasons is that the pipe in the northern most tip of the TCA park extending into Lawyers North will not be able to be relined as previously expected but will have to be replaced.  The new pipe is scheduled to arrive May 18.  

We will continue to keep you posted on major TCA park project developments. 

TCA ANNUAL ASSESSMENT:   Please be on the look out for the TCA annual membership assessment invoice that will be mailed to your home in the next couple of weeks.   The due day for payment is May 31st.
