Tauri Newsletter - Issue #1
Hey!
This is the very first issue of the Tauri newsletter. If you're unfamiliar with Tauri, it is an app construction toolkit that lets you build software for all major desktop operating systems using React, Vue or whatever your frontend stack of choice is.
I plan on sending the newsletter out monthly with the latest news about Tauri, and how individuals and companies are using Tauri to build their applications.

- Rustacean Station interview with Daniel Thompson-Yvetot This podcast interview with one of the co-founders of Tauri covers the initial motivations for starting the project, how it compares to Electron and how the Tauri project is funded.
- This Reddit comment by /u/abeltensor compares Tauri and Flutter(while acknowledging that they aren't direct competitors) and is quite nuanced.
Tauri App of the month
This month's app of the month is Lettura. It's an open-source feed reader with a clean and snappy interface. I think the app is an excellent showcase of what is possible with Tauri.
