Vol. 65 - Soon to Go Fishing
A deluge of fun links, prepping for my favorites of 2025, and a brief update on January 2026.

Didn’t shoot out a letter last week because I was building a new bed. This week I’ve got a ton of links to share, and some news about the letter for the foreseeable future.
Stuuuuuff tiiiiime.
Interesting Stuff
Waterfox
A privacy-based spin off of Firefox. Good to keep on hand when Firefox inevitably shits the bed thanks to their choices lately.
Hackdex
This site is a compendium of Pokemon Romhacks. And as a bonus, it even has a built-in patcher to make it easier to get the hacks ready to go so you can play a spin on Pokemon Emerald for the 10th time in a row.
Toonami Aftermath
Do you miss Toonami? The likelihood of that answer being “yes” is extremely high if you’re reading this newsletter. Don’t worry: I’ve got you covered.
Historic Aerials
It’s like google earth, but for the past. I believe it’s US-only though, because of course it is.
Just Delete Me
A directory that makes it easy to delete shit. Good for covering your digital tracks.
Winamp Skin Museum
Take a trip down nostalgia ave with 100k Winamp skins that definitely whipped the llama’s ass.
Ancient Earth
That link 4 headings up was a fake-out. I am mischievous, and I would never leave you hanging.
Before I Play
This wiki gives you general spoiler-free tips for a game before you start playing it. Doesn’t have every game, but it’s useful for retro stuff in particular.

Status Update
I didn’t have anything planted this week because I’ve spent the past two writing out my favorites of 2025 and preparing my set-ups for 2026. Next week I’ll be posting my favorite games, movies, music, and things, as well as my resolutions for 2026.
And then I think I’ll be taking a break from the letter in January. I’ll resume on February. I’m not burnt out or anything — just wanna pace myself and give some time to a new creative pursuit that I want to pick up at the start of the new year. So look out for that. :)
