Schedule updates
Hello friends,
I have some schedule reminders and updates, now that we have dates confirmed with the James Bay Centre for the next few months. This email’s going to be all scheduling, because I want to get the information out now that it’s all confirmed. In roughly date order:
We have class this week: qigong on Monday July 28th and taiji on Tuesday the 29th.
Then I’m taking the whole first week of August off, so no classes Aug 4th or 5th. We’ll be on Quadra Island, kayaking.
Then there are two more weeks of the summer session, so qigong August 11th & 18th, and taiji August 12th & 19th.
Then another break - we’re going to Yoho in the last week of August, and the James Bay Centre will be closed for a couple of weeks after that for renovations.
Also in August: the Five Animal Frolics qigong workshop will be on Wednesday the 13th. Registration is still open, and there’s plenty of space left.
The Monday afternoon qigong sessions will start back up on September 8th, and run until at least the end of October. I may skip September 22nd, I’ll update people if I do. There will also be some in November & December, but I have enough travel coming up that the schedule’s going to be a bit intermittent.
The morning taiji classes will move from Tuesdays to Wednesdays for the autumn session, this is now confirmed. It will stay 10:15-11:15am, and we’ll have classes September 17th - October 22nd inclusive, then November 5th & 12th, and December 3rd & 10th.
Thursday evening classes will start back up, 5:45-6:45pm, in the same weeks: September 18th - October 23rd, then November 6th & 13th, and December 4th & 11th.
Registration for all of these should open in mid-August. I will send another email when it does.
And finally, we have confirmed dates for winter already:
Morning taiji will move back to Tuesdays, January 16th - March 17th, skipping February 10th.
Evening taiji will stay on Thursdays, January 18th - March 19th, skipping February 12th.
Hopefully that’s all the scheduling done for a while, and I’ll have time to write something that’s not all calendar for the next update.
