Happy New Year!

2023 was categorically un-good for me. Honestly, maybe one of the worst. But I have this badass new watch (not pictured), and it says 1- 1.
The apartment move is basically completed, and the new place feels like starting fresh. I'm not going to risk being as ambitious with goals as I was in January 2023, but I am definitely hoping to unglue myself from the various kinds of shame which I more or less constantly feel.
Anyway, I'm sitting at my desk right now feeling pretty pleased. All my favorite stuff is here. I just had a nice hot chocolate with Bailey's even though it's not really gotten below the 50s much here. Best of all, I'm right next to the best room in the whole place: the kitchen.
I'm going to walk into the kitchen now, do a dish or two, and enjoy something I've really been getting into lately...
Metamucil

This stuff rules, and I've been drinking a glass every night. In case you're not familiar, the contents of this bright orange packaging basically look exactly like some sand. Mixed in a glass of water though, it has this super artificial orange flavor which I love. And in terms of producing the desirable effects you'd expect from consuming a lot of fiber, I find that it works for me noticeably better than even prunes (of which I am a documented fan).
So I guess what I'm saying is, picking up some Metamucil might just be the perfect way to start 2024 off right. I don't wanna get too gruesome, but getting that boost of fiber helps with quality, not just quantity, if you know what I mean.

I'm hoping to have some more to share soon, particularly in the creative realm, but this has honestly been my experience since we last chatted. Let's talk soon, and don't let me forget to message you my new mailing address! No other new contact info to share (I don't think), except that I've been slightly more active on my non-main Instagram lately. Maybe I'll see you there.
OK, as much as I love the experience of typing, I'm gonna call it here. I love you!!!
