📚 Book Notes: The Goal
I’m in love with this newfound genre of business novel. It’s non-fiction so it teaches you something while it’s written like fiction so it’s quite easy to read. The Goal serves as a good introduction to operations, the theory of constraints, and managing an enterprise, with practical examples.
Here are my notes from The Goal:
- Productivity is the act of bringing a company closer to its goal. Every action that brings a company closer to its goal is productive. Every action that does not bring a company closer to its goal is not productive.
- Productivity is meaningless unless you know what your goal is.
If you liked the above content, I’d definitely recommend reading the whole book. 💯
