Hello! It is with some regret that I announce that Andy’s Support Notes is going on hiatus. Why? Well, two primary reasons:
I’m running out of things to say! After over a year and a half of posting every Monday at 9AM like clockwork, I’ve covered most of what I want to discuss about building and leading a support team. New topics are getting harder and harder to come by, and often when I think of something it turns out I’ve already discussed it some time in the last year and change. I need to set this newsletter aside for a while until I come up with a new batch of topics that are worth discussing and that I’m excited to write about.
More demands on my time: I’m starting a new day job, and it’s going to be keeping me very busy for a while. Between that and increased family commitments, I won’t have time to do justice to Andy’s Support Notes.
So this is the last email to go out for a while. I’m not wrapping up the newsletter entirely though. I’ll continue to post reruns on Wednesdays on LinkedIn, and time and topic permitting I’ll put out new articles on an irregular basis.
Before I sign off, I wanted to say: thank you to you all for reading! It’s been incredibly rewarding writing about technical support, and I hope that you’ve found my thoughts helpful in your own work. Keep an eye on your inbox, or LinkedIn, as this isn’t the last you’ve heard from me.
Thanks for reading Andy's Support Notes 💻💥📝!
