EXCLUSIVE: We are beginning to re-open!
Library Champion,
Big news: on Monday, October 5th we will begin to re-open by allowing patrons into our main lobby/vestibule. Currently we are only open for pull-up curbside, but as the weather begins to change, we understand that serving you inside will be the way to go about this. We have been ready for months, having installed sneeze guards around our entire front desk and setting up the layout of the library to ensure everyone socially distances.
To ensure everyone stays safe, we will require all patrons inside to wear a mask. If you do not have a mask, we have disposable masks you can have. If you are unable to wear a mask, we can still assist you via curbside.
We know how valuable the library is to our community. While are doors have been closed to the public, you can still access everything we offer. Be it handouts showing our new releases to borrowing hotspots so you can take the internet with you to viewing storytimes online when the time suits you. We have ensured you can access the library while you and your communtiy remains safe.
As I mentioned a few weeks back, nothing is more expensive than free. What is free to you is not free to the library. Supporting your local library keeps great services like borrowing books for free available so that you and others can save money.
Here is one book I am reading and one book I will be buying soon for the library.

Everything Beautiful in Its Time: Seasons of Love and Loss by Jennifer Bush Hager:
Those looking for surprises or revelations should look elsewhere. The curated version of Hager that emerges falls right in line with her TV persona, and those who enjoy her company on the small screen will likely appreciate it here, as well. -
Troubles in Paradise (Paradise book #3) by Elin Hilderbrand : Just like everything else in 2020, this is not quite what you had hoped for, but, on the other hand, the comfort of a Hilderbrand novel is never something to sneer at.
Our card catalog is now available 24/7 online. Click here to find your next great read.
Is your library card current? If not, click here to see. It's one of the most powerful things you can have.
The grab-n-go book sale was a great success!
The Friends book sales typically are from Tuesday night to Saturday. A good book sale brings in around $1,000. The grab-n-go book sale was 3 hours and brought in over $600! This money will help the library buy 3 Chromebooks for patrons to borrow.
Please and Thank You
Your library misses you. We wish you and your family health and wellbeing during these (and all) times.

P.S.- You don't need to make an account or jump through any hoops to be a library champion. I wouldn't say this if it wasn't true. You can make this happen in less than a minute. Just click here.
