Sunday Comix #20

This issue’s cover celebrates one or two of the darker moments of web comic history.

Contributed by the mysterious and hilarious comic creator of ‘Shave Your Eyebrows’.

Ok, if you don’t know the cover’s references, I’ll reveal the mystery. It refers an infamous comic that was published 18 years ago (oh my goodness, babies born then are now adults, I’m having a mid-sentence-life crisis, I’ll be ok, whew) commonly referred to as Loss. This Reddit comment explained it well, if you want to go down that rabbit hole.
And, of course, we pay tribute to Sunday Comix’s founder, Maurice the Beaver. Or wait, maybe he was a muskrat. Memories fade with time. Rest in peace, Maureen.
Congratulations again to Tiff & Eve, winner of Issue #19’s favorite comic as selected by readers. Be sure to vote for your favorite comic in this issue (survey at the bottom of the email).
