Welcome to the SECOND issue of Sunday Comix!
Today, you’ll be getting all the comics goodness that you could ask for. It’s Saturday night as I write this and I’m putting the finishing touches on what you’re about to read. As of right now, Sunday Comix is GROWING! We have a hefty amount of subscribers, so the fun is only beginning. But as we grow, it’s important that we get feedback on what we’re doing and what you’d like to see. Here’s a few things for you to know as of late:
For those of you who are new, you may be wondering, “Why are you doing this?” If that’s you, I would encourage you to go back and read issue #1, which you can find here! Not only will you find your fair share of comic awesomeness, but you’ll get to read our “manifesto” of sorts.
The “pay” version of Sunday Comix is on pause at the moment! We will open it back up at some point for those of you who would like to contribute to the cause (our subscriber base is growing and with that growth comes costs!). But until we get things in order on our end, we’re going to keep giving Sunday Comix away completely free. When we finally decide to open things up, we’ll let you know, but the main comics will always be free !
Maurice the Beaver will be going early exclusive in Sunday Comix. The comics that appear here will be published throughout the week, but your bonus is an early look at what’s coming!
We’d love to get feedback on formatting and any issues that you might have in regard to what’s being published. Newsletters have a tendency to appear different in different browsers, so if you’re having any major issues, all you have to do is reply to this email and we will get things in order (if we can!). OR you could leave a comment on the archives!
We may do special issues of Sunday Comix on our “off” weeks, where we publish specific storylines for specific comics. For instance, we might do an all “Tiff & Eve” or “Cactusface Comics” edition where you get a series of comics that tell a complete story (usually an older one).
Lastly, don’t forget to support these individuals on their own Patreons or anything else you can do to liven things up! Links for each artist can be found after their comics or at the very bottom of the newsletter!
