Greetings fellow CSS fans!
Thank you for joining this little initative, it’s been a big highlight of my 2020! I hope you enjoyed contributing and/or perusing the contributions. And a super big thanks to those that have shared the project! I’m really looking forward to more styles in 2021 ✨
There are now 51 styles available - go check them out!
🚨 Updates
Awesome contributor Yenly added a GitHub action to the stylestage-sass starter repo to automatically publish your custom styles to GitHub pages 🙌🏽 The README has been updated with the one extra step to enable the GitHub page, and you may then use the stylesheet URL from that as your source for your submission 💫

Sharing My Top CSS Tips to Twitter
I’ve enjoyed experimenting with what type of CSS content folx are drawn to on Twitter - here’s most of them captured in a Twitter search query.
The top two by far were:
- Demonstrating how to create gradient borders with
border-image - Describing how
object-fitworks, including a video
I’m always open to feedback on what you’d like to learn either in a quick tip, or perhaps in a tutorial on ModernCSS.dev or in an egghead video
Link Roundup
Here’s a few of my favorite links from 2020:
- Get started learning about web accessibility with a11y.coffee and solidstart.info
- The inimitable Lynn Fischer’s 2020 portfoio refresh and her case study about it (and of course I love that she sent love to her Style Stage submission!)
- Una’s 1linelayouts is a phenomenal roundup of the power of modern CSS
- The 2020 Web Almanac, particularly the CSS chapter
- 📺 Manuel Matuzović’s talk: Writing even more CSS with accessibility in mind
