Hello to everyone, but especially past contributors, because I have an ask of you:
If Style Stage helped you learn something, would you be willing to share about your experience? You can send me links if you’ve already written an article, or you can respond to me via Twitter DM with a summary that I can include as a quote in this newsletter and possibly on the resources page. Thanks for considering it!
Here are 4 things Jean learned while creating her Style Stage stylesheet, Retroish.
This week I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Amit Sheen and Elad Shechter for their YouTube series CSS Masters Talk where we talked quite a bit about Style Stage. Be sure to give them a follow, subscribe to the channel, and watch the previous interviews, too!
There are now 26 styles available - go check them out!
🚨 Reminder: You can update your styles
Do you wish you had done something a litttle differently? Or maybe you checked your styles in another browser and noticed an issue? Good news - you can make edits to your stylesheet at any time and it will be updated the next time Style Stage builds!
Note that changes will show up in version history, so anything new that violates the guidelines may be cause for temporary removal.

CSS Tip: box-shadow Syntax and Effects
When I asked for suggestions on what to cover in a new egghead video, the surprising winner was box-shadow!
In this 4 min video, I cover the required and expanded syntax of box-shadow and how to create various kinds of effects such as shadows inside the element, a shadow that equally surrounds the element, realistic placement of the shadow, pseudo-borders, and layered effects by defining multiple shadows.
