Hello! I just wanted to give you a quick reminder about what’s coming up in the next couple of days.
FREE CHRISTMAS EVENT
MONDAY 1st DECEMBER 7pm – 8pm GMT
This is an opportunity to just say thank you for being part of the SG community in 2025. I’m offering an Ask Me Anything which can be about anything from insight into the industry to whether a pitch works to questions on writing craft. There will also be the opportunity to win prizes, including chapter critiques, 1:1s, courses and more. Bring your own nibbles and a glass or mug of something lovely!
This online event is EXCLUSIVELY for subscribers as a thank you so please do not share the link. However, if you know any other writers who might benefit, then please do encourage them to sign up to this newsletter before the event so they have the opportunity to join. The more, the merrier!

DEALING WITH DIALOGUE COURSE
A little spontaneous, but in response to a request on the Facebook Story Godmother Community group, I’m re-running a two-week course on Dealing with Dialogue.
TUESDAY 2nd & TUESDAY 9TH DECEMBER 7pm – 8.30pm
We’ll be looking at technical and formatting aspects, as well as creative ones, to help you write effective, engaging dialogue that grips readers.
These sessions will be recorded and sent out after the event. Recordings will be available until the end of the month as I appreciate people will probably be quite busy in December!
