What Stoparmy Movement achieved in April and May
Dear subscriber, greetings.
Over the past two months, we reached a new record in consultations, continued defending conscription rights in Russia, and supported people seeking protection abroad.
Over 2,900 consultations in two months
In April and May, we conducted more than 2,900 consultations via our chatbot and live sessions.
Since the beginning of the year, 3,547 new people have reached out to us, and over the past five months we have provided 6,304 consultations — more than in the entire year of 2025.
Behind these numbers are real people who received support and were able to better protect their rights.
Guides and conscription updates
We covered early restrictions against Russian conscriptions linked to the electronic register of summons, explained to our young audience how to avoid mandatory training exercises, what a mobilization notice means, and how to act under year-round conscription.
We also expanded our online-library of guides and practical instructions for conscriptions.
Media and international work
We continued to provide expert commentary to independent Russian and international media, highlighting violations of conscription rights.
Part of our expertise is also used in international reports on military service and conscientious objection in Europe.
Support abroad and defense of deserters
Thanks to our subscription donors, we were able to find and pay for a lawyer for Georgiy Avaliani, a deserter, who, along with his family, faced deportation from Germany.
We also launched a campaign in support of 20-year-old deserter Nikita Zvezdov, who is facing the threat of deportation from Germany. He still risks being expelled from the EU.
Community and support
The Stoparmy Movement community now includes more than 1,500 people.
We host regular discussions on pacifism, provide additional consultations, and support one another there.
