A new series.

Hola mi amigo. I wanted to take the next 30 days or so and write a little inspo thought each day. For starters, there’s this epidemic of loneliness at play in the world today. I regularly connect with at least one courageous searching soul who is looking for even the slightest glimmer of hope. So, I’ll be in your inbox every day for the next month. But, don’t worry. It’ll be worth it. And, I promise not to burden you with some mumbo-jumbo-self-helpy dialogue. I will give you something you can forward, post, and share with your tribe.

Here’s today’s:

We were never meant to do life alone. I don’t care how tough you are, how independent, how much you say you’ve got this. Sooner or later, life will punch you in the face. And, when it does, your strength won’t come from little old you. Nope. It’ll come from your people.

Community isn’t a just a nice buzzword, it’s survival. It’s the late-night texts, the awkward check-ins, the shared silence when words fail. It’s someone reminding you of your best self when you forgot who you are. And, especially when you feel a bit lost.

And, yes, it’s messy. People will let you down. You will let them down, too. But love is built in the middle of the mess. Not after it’s cleaned up. You don’t need perfect people. You need present ones.

So stop pretending. Let yourself need someone. Ask for help. Reach out. Be the kind of person who stays. Definitely be honest. Be soft. Be you.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not the storms that break us, it’s facing them alone.

Mantra / Prayer:
I was never meant to do this by myself, I belong with others.
