Taking Time — A Little Note Before the Holidays
Hi everyone,
As the year slowly winds down, I hope you’re all doing well. A student said something to me recently that has been echoing in my head ever since:
“You don’t have time — you take time.”
In a world obsessed with productivity and speed, it’s so easy to find a hundred excuses not to do the things that actually make us feel alive — music, movement, baking, wandering, resting. I’m trying to reframe this for myself: if something matters to us, and we do it mindfully, then it’s never a waste. It’s simply being human. And we only get this one life.
So as the holidays approach, I encourage you to take time for what lights you up, even if it's just a few minutes a day.

A few small things from my world:
My new song "Everything" has been out for a week now.
Huge thanks to everyone who already listened, shared, or messaged me — it really means a lot.

Supporting independent artists truly matters.
With AI and the endless social scroll, it’s getting harder to build real human connections online. That’s why writing directly to you here feels so important — I’d rather have genuine connection with a few humans than algorithm-fed engagement.
If you’re gifting music or discovering new artists this season, Bandcamp is a wonderfully artist-friendly place.

Thanks for being here, reading this, and choosing to stay connected in a very noisy online world. It means more than you know.
Wishing you a gentle December,
