New music. Raw thoughts. No algorithms.
Hey, it's Stergin.
I’ve decided to change things up a bit.
Thanks for stepping inside. I’ve started this newsletter because I want to share music, ideas, thoughts and experiments without asking permission from algorithms or platforms anymore. I want to get real again in this world where everything has become a marketplace.
I’m so hungry for real connections with you again and not get lost daily in the black hole of the big techs apps.
This is a space for the in-between moments — the voice memos, the strange loops, the field recordings that might never be released. The questions. The half-formed thoughts. The photos of weirdly shaped chewing gums on streets. The things I usually only share with close friends or late-night winds.
Here’s yesterday evening’s sunset over London at point hill in Greenwich where I live:

I’ll write when I have something real to share — not to hit a schedule.
→ Here’s a private track just for you:
It’s a first version of a song for my “12 Photos 12 Tracks” album 2019 that didn’t make it on the album. The song was inspired by a Polaroid my childhood friend Martina sent me from Canada, Lake Ontario (she only had a single chance of capturing that moment):

If you don’t want to receive thoughts from my brain anymore, please unsubscribe below, no hard feelings even if I know you personally. I know it’s noizy out there…
Finally, I’d love to ask you something:
What kind of behind-the-scenes things do you want to hear from me? What’s on your mind lately?
Hit reply. I really do read everything.
Thank you for being here. Stay mindful.
With sound & silence,
Stergin
