Happy spooky season to all!
I’ve got some exciting events coming up, and TWO new projects that I’m working on (three if you count season 2 of Ghost Wax) so let’s talk about it!
Next month, I’ll be tabling at the Twin Cities Book Festival put on by Rain Taxi. This event is normally held at the State Fair grounds, but because it’s the 25th year they’re doing something different. This year, the book festival will be at Union Depot in St. Paul and there are a bunch of fun activities! Be sure to check out Rain Taxi’s website to see a list of authors and exhibitors.
I will also be at the Booked Eau Claire “Boozy Book Fair” on December 6th at The Brewing Projekt, and I’m working on adding a bookstore event in Menomonie, WI at the end of November. So keep an eye out for more updates!
What’s that? New writing projects?! Hooray!
I’ve got two projects I’m currently working on. One is in the editing phase and is actually the first book I ever finished writing! It was…rough.😅 But I’ve grown a lot as a writer since then and I’m ready to clean it up and present it to the world! Eventually. I hope you like horror, ghosts, and museums, because that’s what’s coming!
I’m also writing something new! I’m not ready to give too much away on that project yet, but I’ll say it’s a mystery/comedy/horror adventure. And it’s so, soooo stupid. But I’m having a blast writing it, so I guess that’s what my brain needs right now. I’m about halfway through the first draft, but I’m excited to tell you more about it in the coming months.
Ghost Wax season 2 is officially happening! Right now, episodes are being released on the main feed for a mini-season called Mazemouth. This is kind of a season 1.5 and will connect the events of seasons 1 and 2. So now is your chance to get caught up before season 2 airs in a few months!!

Currently Reading: Y’all, I’ve been burning through the Dungeon Crawler Carl books by Matt Dinniman! I started two months ago and I’m now on book six. So, yeah. Check them out!
New Movie I enjoyed: I really enjoyed the Spinal Tap sequel. And if you enjoyed Nobody, Nobody 2 was super fun! It’s a high-stakes action movie set in what is essentially Wisconsin Dells. Perfection.

ODIN TIME!!! A few weeks ago I took Odin to a dog-friendly pumpkin patch for a photoshoot. The results were pure magic. 10/10 experience. Would go back.
