“Tap, tap. Is this thing on?”
Hello!!
Way back in 2020, you signed up for The Mighty Minds Club. There was a run of 15 emails, a slack group, a few posts on Medium, a few salons, etc. Then… nothing.

[To be fair: there have been some things happening, but they were more intimate, closed door affairs—nothing I actively promoted!]
Out of this time, came one thing that’s stuck: The Thinking Things newsletter:

Every 2 weeks, I curate and share five “playful things to think with.” Think card decks, games, activities, canvases, maps, models, frameworks, toolkits, simulations, and similar tools that support collaboration, reflection, and understanding. Oh, and there’s some brief commentary as to how these tools aid our understanding of difficult topics.
I’m proud to say I’ve kept this up now for 2 years; this Sunday I’ll be publishing issue № 76. 🎉
It’s a free newsletter—no paywalled content or subscription fees. In fact, every past issue is publicly available right now at The Mighty Minds Club Newsletter. My goal with this newsletter is simple: To build a center of gravity around “playful things to think with.” (There are other, personal reasons I’m doing this, but that a topic for a longer post! 😜)
Anyway, if this sounds at all interesting to you:
✨I’d love to see you sign up✨
On occasion, there is some exclusive content only for email subscribers (I’ll be sharing a free print-and-play card deck later next week)
It’ll be the first place I announce things like—wait for it—the long-anticipated 15th anniversary reprinting of the Mental Notes card deck. No, seriously. It will happen this time! Seriously.
From time to time, we do community things, like this: Creative Challenge #2: Make A Zine!
See you over there?
Cheers!
Stephen P. Anderson

⚠️ I intend to follow up with one final reminder email, then I’ll purge this email list. ⚠️
