Steeven Says Stuff #2 - Work, Work, and More Work
Thank you for subscribing to Steeven Says Stuff, the newsletter dedicated to providing you with all the updates about me: Steeven R. Orr.
I’m a podcaster. I co-host The Superman Super Show with Ed Moore and I host Hither Came Conan, Growing Up Geek, The Comic Book Show, and so many more.
I’m also a husband, a father, a recluse, a writer, a neurodivergent, an introvert, a nerd, an expert at hyperbolization, a Human Scarecrow*, and so much more!
What… Is… Up?
This week’s newsletter is below.
THE INTRODUCTION BIT
Howdy, folks.
I hope you had a good week.
Today, with this, the second official Steeven Says Stuff email, I figured EXCLUSIVE information is always fun, so I’m gonna drop a big bunch of information on you in regard to a new podcast I’m working on that’s set for release in April.
That podcast is Steeven Orr Else.
THE MAIN BIT

First off, check out that podcast art!
Pretty cool, huh?
Thanks, Canva and Photoshop!
Anyway, before we get into Steeven Orr Else, I first wanted to let you know that, with everything I have going on and all that I’m trying to do, its going to be easier for me, and better for you, if I focus on one show at a time, one season at a time.
For example. The episodes of Hither Came Conan are all divided up into twelve episode seasons. Currently, the show is in the middle of Season Five and the last episode that I released (Conan the Barbarian #32 (Marvel: 1973) | Flame Winds of Lost Khitai) is Episode 6 of Season Five.
In other words, I have just six more episodes to complete Season Five, but rather than try and maintain a bi-weekly release schedule, I’ve decided not to release any more episodes of Hither Came Conan until all of Season Five is recorded, edited, and in the can.
The Superman Super Show is also separated into 12 episode seasons, but as I have a pretty good recording schedule going on with Ed, the other host, I’m not making any changes there.
But, beyond The Superman Super Show, by focusing on just one show at a time, and even then for only as long as it takes to create one full season, I feel like I will have a better time keeping up.
With that said, the first show and the first season I’ll pour all of my focus into will be Season One of Steeven Orr Else.
Sure, I suppose it would make sense to finish up the current season of Hither Came Conan, but I chose Steeven Orr Else for a reason.
I had already set myself the goal of completing the six episodes of Steeven Orr Else, having them all written, recorded, edited, and in the can by April 1.
See, the idea here is that I'll release Season One, all 6 episodes, early and ad-free for paid members of Steeven Orr Else Beyond, all at once, on April 1, which is a Tuesday.
By the way, this is NOT an April Fool's joke. If you know anything about me then you know I'm not a big fan of April Fool's jokes, especially those that are perpetrated online and make me believe we're getting some cool new comics when we aren't.
Pisses me off every... single... time!
So no, this is not an April Fool's joke.
Anyway, the following week, April 8 (also a Tuesday), the first episode will go out the general public, followed by the other five over the next five weeks.
Then, I’ll move on to the next podcast I’ll focus on, which will be finishing Season Five of Hither Came Conan, then Season Two of The Comic Book Show, then Season Two of Growing Up Geek, then I’ll go back to Steeven Orr Else and work on Season Two and so on and so on and so on.
But wait, there's more!
See, I'm releasing all kinds of EXCLUSIVE Steeven Orr Else information here for all, y'all and I want to keep that going so here is the podcast description for Steeven Orr Else, which currently includes three fake quotes from three fake reviews. I don't know if they will stay when I'm ready to launch, but they are there for now:
"A chaotic mish-mash of crap, useless information, and undeserved hyperbole." - A Discerning Podcast Listener
"Listening to this podcast made me so angry that I wanted to club a baby seal!" - Not a Spokesperson for a popular American nonprofit animal rights organization
"It's s#!t." - The Society of Fictional Podcast Reviews
The most monumental, mind-melting, magnificently madcap podcast in the multiverse!
Broadcasting from a secret lair deep in the hills of eastern Kansas, Steeven Orr Else is your ultimate escape into geekdom’s glorious galaxy. Each episode is an audacious amalgamation of comic book critiques, movie musings, and pop culture ponderings, peppered with absurd anecdotes, riveting rants, and silly shenanigans.
With a voice like molten gold and a knack for nuclear-level nonsense, Steeven takes listeners on a whirlwind of whimsical weirdness. Whether he’s deconstructing decades-old comics, spinning tales of a time-traveling podcaster, or uncovering the profound science of refrigerated rubber bands, you’ll laugh, learn, and love every second of the spectacle.
This isn’t just a podcast—it’s a phenomenon, a proclamation, a declaration of delirious delight. Step into the splendidly strange world of Steeven Orr Else and experience the chaos, creativity, and charisma you didn’t know you needed.
Because life is too short for boring podcast, THIS is Steeven Orr Else!
Sounds fun, doesn't it!
BUT WAIT, THERE'S EVEN MORE!
Again, keeping with this whole EXCLUSIVE information vibe I got going on here, I think it would be fun to keep you updated on my progress with Steeven Orr Else as we get closer to the launch date.
I currently have the first three episodes complete, I’ve got the script finished up for Episode 4 and I have begun recording and editing, and then beyond that I have outlines for the final two episodes.

* The Human Scarecrow is a creative and unconventional role dedicated to protecting agricultural fields and gardens from birds and pests using human ingenuity and presence. This position blends elements of performance art with practical pest deterrence, making it both a functional and engaging role for community farms or experimental agricultural projects.
Human Scarecrows typically work outdoors on farms, community gardens, or experimental agricultural sites. The role involves exposure to the elements and requires flexibility, as work hours may vary seasonally or in response to pest activity. This unique position is ideal for those with a passion for sustainable agriculture, creative expression, and community interaction.
I’ve never actually been a Human Scarecrow.
