THE INTRODUCTION BIT
Hey, folks!
So yeah, I made something dumb once.
Actually, I make dumb stuff all the time, but I wanted to present to you something specific that some, many, all, or none of you have ever seen before!
So let’s get to it!
THE MAIN BIT
So, back in March of 2023, I was putting together my notes for and episode of Event Orr Else (Episode 28 or Season 3, Episode 2), this idea struck me.
A song invaded my brain.
It was the first line of Sucker MC’s by RUN/DMC:
Two years ago, a friend of mine
Asked me to say some MC rhymes
But for some reason, in my brain, I had changed it to:
Some years ago Marvel gave to you
A nine issue mini called Secret Wars II
And so, I really had no choice, and I wrote made something dumb.
So, here's a little something I made a little over two years ago for an episode of Event Orr Else.
I gave it a bit of a re-mix, hoping that it would sound better, but unfortunately no amount of remixing is able to hide the fact that I am a terrible rapper.
Anyway, I used the beat to Sucker MC's from RUN/DMC.
THE TO DO LIST
Just like last time, I’ve been super busy with editing episodes for clients, which is great for me, because I need the money, but it also means a delay in episodes for you, which sucks.
And yet, as you can see, I have not only finished the show notes for the next episode of Hither Came Conan, I recorded the episode as well. So that’s good news!
