Learn how to run for office

Hello library supporters,

The roller coaster continues! A short blast because again let’s be real, who can keep up? And we wanted to alert you to an opportunity to learn about running for office!

Are you frustrated by the direction of our state, regardless of your party affiliation? Feel like there are no real choices on the ballot where you live? Wednesday, February 7th at 7pm (Mtn) and 6pm (Pac) the Idaho Democratic Party Executive Director Jared DeLoof will be hosting an info session on running for office in Idaho. Jared will discuss the reasons why you should throw your hat in the ring, how you get on the ballot, and how to campaign. This training is for anyone (regardless of political affiliation) who is curious about running for office or learning how to support pro-library and democracy candidates in your area. RSVP here.
