Nearly Annual Wrap-Up 2025!
My 2025 in review, with photos, bonus Barbie content, and of course, the Duolingo Dystopia
I don’t want to presume about your year, but overall, I feel like 2025 was… a lot.
I have the nagging sensation that I didn’t accomplish as much as I would have liked, but looking back, I was also pretty busy.
Doing what? On to the wrap-up!
What Have I Been Up to in 2025?
Overall, 2025 has been a year of travel, family, and nostalgia.
I went to see extended family and many friends over the summer; my parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, and my undergraduate alma mater held its final reunion on the campus where I attended.

I also celebrated my birthday in Las Vegas, went to see Dimension 20 live twice, and after almost six years, Covid finally caught up with me in September.

And of course, there was Jeopardy!

From My Desk
You’re going to have to take my word for the fact that I was employed in 2025, as my latest job continues to lurk in the status of, "project that must not yet be named,"TM but checking through the archives, I discovered I somehow forgot to share that Barbie and Teresa: Recipe for Friendship, a special I wrote back in 2022, premiered this March!

Big thanks to my producers, execs, and especially our story and cultural consultant Yolie Cortez!
What I've Been Reading and Watching
I saw 54 different movies in 2025, most of them in the theater. Standouts included Companion, Superman, The Ballad of Wallace Island, and of course, Thunderbolts*.
On the reading front, my final book of the year is North Woods by Daniel Mason. Having spent most of my college years in Western Massachusetts, I’m enjoying the trek through this virtual slice of the history of the Berkshires.

Falstaff isn’t afraid to ask the big questions.

And That's The Nearly Annual Wrap-Up!
May 2026 bring hope and prosperity to you and yours, and sow confusion and disorder among all who would oppose you. Comments? Questions? Drop me a line! Otherwise, I’ll see you next year.
