Slices and Spirits at Penn Forest
Hi Readers,
I want to share this invitation to this summer event, “Slices and Spirits” and introduce you to a special place that many of you may not yet know—Penn Forest Natural Burial Park.
Don’t let the name keep you away! Yes, I conduct many green burials there, surrounded by the beauty of meadows, woods, and quiet paths. But Penn Forest is so much more than a place for burial.
I look forward each year to the Winter Solstice celebration, when a path of 100 luminaries lights the way and a huge bonfire warms the evening. There is a picking garden where you can cut flowers, a farm to explore, a meditation hut for quiet reflection, and so much more.
If you live in Western Pennsylvania, I invite you to discover this gentle and beautiful place for yourself. Come for an event, take a walk, explore the grounds, or simply spend some time surrounded by nature.
Penn Forest is a place of both endings and beginnings—a place filled with nature’s beauty, peacefulness, and lovely people. I hope you’ll come and experience it for yourself. Warmly, Tricia

Autumn pizza party under the stars at Penn Forest! Tasty food, delicious drinks, and amazing live bluegrass!
Driftwood Oven will be cooking up tasty fare with their mobile pizza oven using fresh local produce from COLDCO Farm. Hard cider refreshments will be provided by A Few Bad Apples.
Live bluegrass by Well Strung!
