Reflection #61 What is Most Important

Today I ask myself,
what is most important,
most meaningful use,
of this time in my life?

This query demands
courage and honesty,
tender compassion,
and vulnerability.

So, I sit in this moment
silent and uncertain,
reflecting on memories,
inviting strong feelings.

Taking to heart
the hard lessons…
knowing I need not
live them forever... or again.

Instead,
I gather their wisdom,
release old stories
of hurt and disappointment.

Then slowly,
with grace,
I travel lighter
toward what is yet to come.
