Reflection #37 Shifting Gears
Reflection #37 Shifting Gears
In this time of change,
I tend to what is visible
admitting my sight
is soft around the edges.
Shifting gears slowly,
carrying humility
I seek, yet again, to live
beyond the narrow pull of self.
Yet, what if what I offer
is only a single drop
in a vast desert of need—
with me so limited.
Not knowing what’s up next,
So I adapt… begin again,
expecting and accepting change,
shifting gears as best I can.
