Reflection #25 Taking Inventory

I’m taking inventory—
a gentle reckoning
with the person I’ve been
and the one I am becoming.

Bit by bit,
truth reveals itself—
and I’m learning to see

my own needs,
my expectations,
my tender, unhealed places.

Now I reframe, reshape,
and look at life
with its glorious mess,
its fragile beauty,
its surprising grace.

I let go
of the heavy things:
the sadness, the regrets,
the small stones
I’ve carried too long.

And with each breath…

I am moving on.
