REFLECTION #6. It Is Enough

It is enough, isn’t it?! I love this reflection.

Michael and I both realize that there's no greater blessing than to say, "I've had a good life."  And, as Edith Piaf might sing, "Je ne regrette rien."  (I regret nothing.)

-----------------------

Beautiful poem as well as reality for sure, some of us to  able to take decision of saying it is enough  not that easy because our heart still bleeds  due to disappointments & betrayal from the especially close people we call  trustable friends or family or relatives sometimes we play a  role of yes i forgave them  but in actual sense still holding angers/grudges towards them ,in case may be  it reoccurred another problem we express it in bad way .Honestly everyone can  testify but the lesson i learnt  is to let it go and be able to say enough is enough  can't continue to live in my past  though not that simple took me some decades and still now still practicing patience and lean to say it is well enough ,didnt work as i planned and not too expect much  from people . Reflection  #6 ,indeed is 100% true. Stay  blessed –O

These words resonate with me. –F ________

Reflection #7 Hauntings

Love this! –N

Nice poem. I feel that way sometimes myself. Thank you -S

Hi Tricia, Welcome to a sunny and warm world today! Your #7 Reflection hit my 'sweet spot'...and you were able to put it into print so beautifully.  With retirement, I learned that the bed was not my enemy...that I could learn to actually sleep...and that 'venue' was my friend with whom I could experience rest...dream...and entertain some powerful and affirming memories. Your 'simple' word-picture affirmed my experience which helps to balance the 'loss' of fun/experience/people/places pre-retirement with the solitude and time in the present. This is a real 'keeper' for me....Thank You My Dear....Blessings....and continued Powerful/Affirming Dreams.---Your Loving Older Brother

Reflection #8: Identity Lost and Found

As always, so beautiful and soul stirring. Thank you. -J

Ah, if only my retirement had felt like that!  In fact, after reading your lovely reflection,  I had to turn to my journal to reflect on mine. Maybe we can compare notes one day!!  Want to go for coffee sometime? --H

Well done. I think this is one of your best for capturing the web of feelings of being retired. –L

Reflection #10 This Barren Place

I love this!!!  --C

Love this. --F

Hi Tricia, A quiet Fourth of July....clear skies...warm temperatures....and very quiet (as of 4:00 PM,  Hopefully your day is a bit for exciting (or will be)! Re-reading your "Reflection #10" is as refreshing as the first time.   Appreciating your fresh style and minimized wording.....yet deeply meaningful.  Very refreshing during the heat of recent days. --D
