Two people. One green velvet table. Zero hot takes.

This week Rich and Marlowe sat down over the October 17 market report — two verified sales, both calibre-861 companions, while the calibre-321 references recorded no verifiable sale at all — and took up the companion question: one trophy in the safe, or one companion on the wrist?

Marlowe: "Two verified sales this week, and neither one is a trophy."

Rich: "The trophies sat. The companions traded. Asking is a wish — forty-one bids is a verdict."

The full conversation is at the tables — pull up a chair.
