Stimela Sasezola, by Mbongeni Ngema

A love song where the singer compares his beloved to various precious objects, like a Welcome Dover stove and "thambo lam le kentucky" (my chicken bone from Kentucky, as in Kentucky Fried Chicken bone -- a common term of endearment now). I understand the title (Stimela Sasezola) was the train ("stim" as in "steam engine") that went from Soweto to Johannesburg and was one of the few trains that black people could ride on during apartheid, but I might be wrong about that.

On a seperate note, I just love the tune -- to me it's an unusal mix of upbeat and relaxed simultaneously.
