🧹 Writing better code automatically
Hello Hello!
"Why do Java programmers have to wear glasses? Because they can't C#"
- Thanks to one of my students for this joke! 🤣
Ethereum has merged this week. What does that mean? Today I have two videos and one article. One of them will talk about Ethereum.
For many years I haven't used linters because I didn't know they existed.
Now linters are available on every language to ensure, amongst other things, that best practices are followed.
Using linters will help to keep your code clean 🧹 and pristine. This was a major event for the blockchain ecosystem. I don't claim to know a lot about it but I try to keep myself informed.
This video will not dive deep into all things blockchain and Ethereum, but it can help you with a great conversation starter at a party and you can show off to your friends that you know some cool tech. 🤨🕹️ Have you played Wordle before? My older daughter used to play it every morning as I dropped her to school. It is a guessing word game of 5 letters. You have to figure out the correct word in a about 6 attempts.
This article will show how to use AI and JavaScript to build a Wordle clone.
Bonus: This would be a great project to add to your portfolio!
My personal update:
👩🏫 I have started taking a new teaching course from Coursera - "Uncommon Sense Teaching Specialization". I'm always trying to become a better instructor and I love Barbara Oakley
🎞️ I went to TIFF last Sunday and watched Bruiser - It was a very unique experience to be able to see the cast members live on stage after the movie, answering questions from the audience.
🥳 Going to an 80's theme party this Saturday - There will be pictures next newsletter.
Invitation: If you have questions about career or technology ✋ and you would like my input, I would love to invite you to discuss your questions with me.
The catch: We will record the conversation and make it public on my YouTube Channel. This way more people can benefit from the conversation. Hit "Reply" to this email if you are interested.
Cheers, hasta la vista, and bye!
