🌟 The Prestige of Big Tech Companies
Hello Hello!

Today I'm bringing more amazing AI, what's the big deal with FAANGs and where do developers hang out.
💡 I'm a subscriber of Ness Labs and I find their articles very useful from a productivity and wellbeing standpoint.
I'm sharing this particular one because it goes deeply into how AI is influencing creative works, whether is writing articles, coding (yes, I'm adding "coding" as a creative endeavor too), music, drawing, and more.
It talks about the many existing tools that can assist creatives doing their work. Not necessarily doing the work "for" them but doing the work "with" them. What's the big deal with FAANG?
🏆 At some point in the past I had the desire to work for Microsoft. I was still living in Brazil (over 20 years ago) and I was able to get an interview over the phone with a Microsoft recruiter from Redmond, Washington.
I was not selected. I was disappointed of course but I knew I could barely speak English at that point in time, so it was no surprise I wasn't the right choice.
Why did I share this? Because I know the lure that big tech companies have on a lot of tech people, including me back then. This blog post will talk about the FAANG companies and why they are so desirable.
Different people, sites and publications will also mention about other acronyms renaming Facebook to Meta, removing Netflix, adding Microsoft, etc. It doesn't matter that much. In the end, we are talking about the tech giants.
Side note: This is the first blog post done by the author. Kudos to her! If she can do it, you can share your ideas too.🤝 In this article you will find a list of the most relevant places on the web where you can find developers converging. Learning to code is hard and doing it alone makes it even harder.
This article will should you where to find communities of people like you where you can share your struggles with and bounce ideas/questions.
You should be able to find a place that you can connect and identify better with. Not all places are equal. Some will be more welcoming than others.
My personal update:
🤒 This week was tough. I'm still recovering from a flu. Got work done, but not much beyond that.
🍿 I may watch Wakanda Forever tomorrow.

Cheers, hasta la vista and bye!
