Today I bring to you a live event, a coding language, and a deployment technology.
How to get started in tech?
👶 This is a live online presentation (September 5 at 11:00 AM) put together by the team at Hashnode. They will be talking to the team at FreeCodeCamp on how to get started in tech.
Might be useful if you haven't gotten your first job in tech yet.📃 For sure you have heard of JavaScript, but what about TypeScript? I was using TypeScript in the last company I worked for. You can think of it as a more robust version of JavaScript. It was created by Microsoft.
Get to know about it from this tutorial. It will give you the basics on how to work with it.🙌 If you have a little experience in tech you must have said or heard someone saying the phrase "It works on my machine" when developers face the situation that their code doesn't run on a live environment. I said that myself before!
That is where Docker comes in. Dockers is a container technology that promises to ship code and environment together some no dev can say this phrase again.
I had to get myself familiarized with Docker in the last few days as it is a technology used by the company I'm interviewing for.
Read this article to, at least, know what docker is all about. No need to go too deep unless you have to.
