🃏 Happy April Fools!
Hello Hello!
"Today's the day to propose. If they say yes, great. If they say no, just say: 'April Fools!'"
🤣 source: Yahoo Life
Today I bring games, and good news about the Toronto Tech Industry.
👾 If you have had Programming I or II with me, you know that most of the time we are dealing with the boring console. Not that fun, is it?
What if I tell you that you can play console based games. And you can even see their code. From "Rock Paper Scissors" to "Tic Tac Toe" and PacMan, they have it all. Just about 50 console based games build in C# as console apps with their respective source code.
With these games, you can not only have fun, but you can feel inspired and learn new tricks in C# with the help of console based apps.
Give it a try and let me know.
Event: Learning about the Recursion Algorithm with Minesweeper
💣 There will be a one hour online event this week within the Visual Studio Meetup Group where Ania Kubow will talk about Recursive Coding using VS Code and applying it to Minesweeper.
Just 1 hour. It would be a very good introduction for anyone who has never been to an online meetup. This is how you start to build your coding career.
Toronto Software Engineering Salaries
💰 Some good news! This is a short article from Toronto Start that shows the salaries of Software Engineers are growing faster in the Toronto than in other markets in the US.
It doesn't mean that it is higher - It just means that it is growing faster. We shall celebrate anyways! 🎉
My personal update:
😱 Watching 2 movies tomorrow with my Kids: "Scream VI" and "John Wick: Chapter 4" - Sometimes I think I could do better as a father.
🐝 This week was super crazy at work, but I also felt very productive. It is so good to feel useful and that what you do matters to other people.
🏫 Week 11 of my teaching semester is gone - 3 weeks to go! My students and I need a break.
