🤑 Tech Salaries Growth
Hello Hello!
🤣 source: Saying Images
Today I bring to you a hackathon, an interface, and tech salary growth.
🤓 Appwrite is a company who provides a developer-friendly backend platform to host web and mobile apps.
They are sponsoring a hackathon, together with Hashnode, that is running from May 15 to June 14 with prizes of $5,000 and $1,000.
Hackathons are great to learn, build your portfolio, interact with a community, and who knows, make some 💰.
Full disclosure: I have never been part of a hackathon, so I don't have first-hand experience with them. However, I know a bunch of people who love being part of them.
💻 CLI stands for "Command-Line Interface". It means applications where you interact with them via command-line.
If you have taken COMP100 or COMP123 with me, you were exposed quite a lot to the black screen of the command line when you run your code.
In the current dev ecosystem, we use CLI tools quite extensively, from GIT to NPM and Node, there is a lot of power of becoming comfortable with CLIs.
What about trying to create your own CLI? This article will show you how you can do just that.
