🫂 Best Friends Forever (BFF)
Hello Hello!
Today I bring to you a job search story, an open-source project, and an architectural pattern.

Her unexpected break comes through LinkedIn, turning her story into a triumphant narrative of perseverance and hope in the face of adversity.A NodeJS Time Tracker
⏲️ If you like and want to get more proficient at NodeJS, here is an open source time tracker build with NodeJS and TypeScript.
The article talks about how to use the application. But then you can explore the GitHub repo to see how he put it together, and maybe even contribute.
This could be a nice project to add to your portfolio as a contributor.BFF
🤝 No, I'm not talking about "Best Friends Forever". I'm talking about "A Backend For A Frontend" (BFF) Architecture Pattern.
This architecture pattern is a design approach used in software development, especially in the context of web applications and services.
This pattern involves creating a unique backend service layer tailored specifically for each type of frontend application that a system has to support.
This short video will give you a better idea of what this is and you can go a bit deeper with this article.
Personal Updates:
🎓 Back to college this week! Welcome to my COMP100 and COMP123 students!
🎥 Watched "Society of the Snow". Such a great survival movie!
🪥 Struggling with a "Copy&Paste" project at work. You cannot believe the technical challenge it is to copy content from Microsoft Word/PDF and paste it inside a custom editor in a web application, but keeping the format intact. I have to explain this tomorrow to the client why the "trivial" Copy&Paste feature is taking such a long time to get done.
