π· A product manager is the person who identifies the customer need and the larger business objectives that a product or feature will fulfill, articulates what success looks like for a product, and unites a team to turn that vision into a reality.
And guess what? I decided to become one.
This article will tell you what a Product Manager does. It can be a career path for you.
My personal update:
π I'm back in Canada after almost 3 months in Brazil. I have accomplished my goals there: (1) Moved my mom to the countryside to give her a better life. (2) Took vacation time with my kids (3) Worked.
Glad to be back, but missing friends and family already. I will be going back more often. Now I have more reasons πβοΈ I was laid off from the company I was working for. I'm already going through the interview process for another job.
π· I have decided to change roles. I am walking away from very technical positions to focus more on the intersection of business and technology. I'm looking for opportunities as a Product Manager / Product Owner.
