Today I bring to you an event, backup, and ChatGPT in .NET.
π Join me and the awesome organizing team behind the Toronto .NET Meetup group. We will be meeting September 7 from 6 to 8 pm @ Microsoft Canadian Headquarters in downtown Toronto for an in-person event.
There will be two topics: Microservices with Azure Function & IoT Demo .
Meetups is a great way to get to know people in the industry and find job opportunities in the long run. Come!
π½ I admit, I have a bit of "backup anxiety". I'm always wondering when will be the day that I will try to find a project file, documents that I scan or photos, and I cannot find them.
I have partially solved it with things like Evernote (old school) and DropBox. But I still have legacy backups with external hard-drives, CD/DVDs, and previous services like Backblaze and Amazon Photos (or something like that).
This article goes through a few options and strategies. From Mac to Windows, you will find free and paid options here.
ChatGPT in .NET
π€ We talk so much about using ChatGPT that we forget to understand how we can use it connected directly to our code.In this recorded-from-live session, you will get to know how you can connect to ChatGPT and use it within your code using C# and .NET (remember, I'm a Microsoft fanboy).
My personal update:
π« / π¬ I'm visiting my friends over this weekend and writing this from their house. Great to be back with them, talking until 2 in the morning π€
π This past week was the end of the summer semester at the Centennial. Thank you so much to all my students this semester. Enjoy your break!
π· Things have been a bit slow in regards to the interview process that I'm going through. But it looks like next week it will move forward. On Monday I should have the next interview. I'm hoping next Saturday I will have good news to share.
