👁️ Coding with your Eyes
Hello Hello!
🤣 by Lokajit Tikayatray
Today I bring to you a video about accessibility in coding, how software developers are evaluated, and working with z-index.
➡️ Side Note: It is becoming increasingly difficult to bring links that don't include AI or ChatGPT. Every other article I come across has something to do with them. From now on, if I think it is relevant, I will just post without much consideration of repeating the topic.
👁️ Can you imagine coding just with the help of your eyes? This video features a young lady, Becky Tyler, that does just that. It is inspiring and makes me hopeful about giving everyone equal access to opportunities, no matter their abilities.
You can read the article as well.
Evaluating a Software Developer
✔️ This is a very short article from Montreal Times more focused on helping companies to evaluate software developers properly.
Because you are most likely a software developer, this article will show you how you are assessed when applying for a job as a coder.
In the long run, try to make sure you check most of the recommendations from this article. It is a very good reference.Z-index Debugging
🐞 When I used troubleshoot problems on websites where one element was on top of the other, and it should be reversed, it was so frustrating.
I'm talking about the z-index in HTML. It controls the stacking order of elements on a page. Normally you don't need to worry about it, but when you need more elaborate layout with overlays, you will face this. This article shows a modern way that you can troubleshoot z-index issues on the web.
My personal update:
🤒 I have been a bit under the weather for the fast few days. Thank God it is the weekend and I can try to recover. No adventures this weekend with my kids.
📖 The technical topic I have been studying lately is Kusto Query Language. It is a language that reminds me of SQL Query. It helps me on my job to query our application logs on Azure and troubleshoot problems.
