The time has come. This Friday and Saturday, August 21st and 22nd, are Solid Ground Garden’s last days open for the 2026 season.

It’s unfathomable that we’re already nearing the end of August, but here we are. Kids are headed back to school and the mornings have a hint of a fall chill in the air. This season absolutely blew by. And despite this, there’s still time left to plant in our gardens.

Thank you all for your continued support, and for making 2026 my best year yet. I genuinely could not do this without you. And as a way to give as many plants as possible a home before closing, continue to provide support for your gardens, and show my gratitude, ALL PLANTS will be 50% OFF for these last two days.

There are still 40 varieties of plants left, from fall vegetables to native perennial flowers, shrubs, and trees, to (my personal favorite) the funky sensitive plants that close up when you touch them. Check here for the full availability. I also still have plenty of t-shirts and sweatshirts, as well as organic fertilizers to keep your garden going up to the first frost and beyond.

To my garlic growers, fear not! I will be back in mid October with certified organic seed garlic for you all to plant. Keep an eye out for another email from me, as well as posts on my social media accounts, to stay updated.
