Lone Star Zine Fest this weekend!
Hi!
A quick note today. Welcome to those new on the list from ABQ!
Lone Star Zine Fest is happening this weekend in Austin, and I’ll be tabling on Saturday from 12-6!

While in Austin, I got to visit my friend J Muzacz’s Mosaic Workshop and some of their beautiful murals near Holly Commons in east Austin. Worth a visit if you’re ever in the area!!

Finally, I posted a big essay about epigenetic topographies and intergenerational storytelling on my Substack, Wandering Grace. Please check it out and consider becoming a free or paid subscriber to keep up with the writings happening there!

A few bonus reads/links to share: Brian Stout writes about (re)learning how to cry, Beck Tench on (pandemic) cages of our own making, the layered allegories of I Saw the TV Glow, these grief quilts for Palestine, and the capacity question of how to be in continued presence+action with heartbreak on a global scale.
Hugs,
Christina
