March Anncouncements

SCaLE Roundup and Thanks

Big thanks to everyone who came out to our booth at SCaLE 23x, and an especially big thank you to all of our volunteers who helped staff the booth throughout the weekend! We had a great time, and sorry we ran out of stickers so early (we didn't think they'd be so popular)!

Joining the Slack server

If you explicitly requested to be added to our Slack on the sign-up sheet, I have already send you an invite. If you would like access but were not given an invite yet, please drop us a line on our Contact Form and ask for an invite (I assure you we do monitor that contact form actively). Please use the same e-mail you used to sign up for the mailing list.

Pasadena Python Meetup Coming Soon

Quite a lot of attendees at our booth asked if we held any events in Pasadena. While not currently the case, we have found someone in the area who is eager to start organizing events soon! Once things are ready, we will make an announcement on this newsletter (and on our website, Meetup, etc...), so stay tuned! In the meantime, if you are looking for a place to hang out with other friendly tech people, I highly recommend checking out Lan's Monthly SGV Linux User Group (their next event is tomorrow evening).

March Meeting

Our next regular meeting will be held at O'Brien's Pub (same as last time) on March 28th at 2PM. Please RSVP via Meetup or Luma; it is not required, but it helps us know how many people to expect! Hope to see you all there.

Still looking for a speaker

We had a few people mention they might be interested in giving talks at our meetups, but nobody has offered to do one for March yet. Please contact us if you are available and interested.

Looking forward to seeing you in the future.
