February Meetup

We've just scheduled our next meetup. It will be held at O'Brien's Pub (same as last time) on February 21st, starting at 2PM. Please RSVP via Meetup or Luma; its not required, but it helps us know how many people to expect! Hope to see you all there.

We currently don't have any speakers lined up. If you are interested in giving a technical talk to a friendly crowd of follow Python folks, please reach out, we'd love to host you!

SCaLE Megabooth Volunteering

We're planning on running a joint mega-booth at the Southern California Linux Expo between SoCal Python, PyBeach, and PyCon US, and we're looking for community volunteers to help staff the booth from Friday afternoon through Sunday. If you are already planning on attending SCaLE, and are willing to spare ~1.5 hours (or more, or less) to help out, please drop us a line.

Check out this document for details on what we will need volunteers to do while staffing the booth.

Volunteers will still need to purchase a ticket in order to attend attend. Use the discount code PYPY to get 50% off the listed price (you may use the code even if you aren't planning on volunteering). And please spread the word to others!
