DIVINE GUIDANCE —

It is a sign of strength, not weakness, to admit that you don’t know all the answers.

There was a time in our lives when we felt we had to have all the answers. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be admired or respected.

Knowledge was the key to success, and it fed our self-importance. We now know that we don’t—and can’t—have all the answers.

Now we can be thankful that we don’t have to pretend. We don’t know how to run our lives, but we know that God does. We don’t always know what we should do, but we know how to find out. It wasn’t until we surrendered to our powerlessness, in fact, that our Higher Power was able to restore our sanity. Admitting we need help offers us the strength we always sought but never had.

Today, I take comfort in not having the answers but knowing who does.
