Meditation reading for Friday October 18, 2024
TIME DISCOVERS TRUTH —
Our program sponsors often tell us that time is on our side. We can remember that we didn’t get into the fix we were in all at once, and that we are not healed overnight. It takes time.
As we heal, we will discover what time-tested advice we can rely on. We are often skeptical when introduced to anything new, and this program is no exception. We may not have believed “the God thing” at first. But when we observe the spiritual development of our friends in the program, we see for ourselves what works. We come to trust old-timers because they, after all, are the proof of this program. We can see the truth in their faces and in their lives.
Today I am grateful to those who have gone before me for showing me the way.
