Meditation reading for Friday November 8, 2024
MIRACLES —
It is impossible on reasonable grounds to disbelieve miracles. We who have entrusted our life to a Higher Power can tell of strange and wonderful happenings. Unexplainable though they may be, they often come dressed in ordinary clothes. Yet there is something about these moments that doesn’t seem ordinary. Something is a bit out of sync with time or place. Something unusual. And we can’t suppress a little shiver.
We can credit some happenings to coincidence. After all, everyone is entitled to serendipity now and then. But when good things begin multiplying, we have to face it—somebody’s trying to tell us something. And we recall that it all began shortly after we took the Third Step.
How can I not believe in miracles? I am a miracle.
