signs of september.
good morning to you,
I write to you sat in my dogs favorite chair beside the front window - the dew of morning fresh, small droplets still lingering from the overnight rain. I first open the window and the seagull sounds tumble in more clearly traveling along the breeze, but the usual, familiar smell of it all does not come.

I’ve been really ill the last handful of days, the first time in a while. It’s been a reminder to not take on too many things all at once, and to give myself space to reflect during times of transition - to ask for support and accept it when I feel ill & overwhelmed, a personal challenge of mine.
It is all a little comical honestly because this is the thing I love to offer you the most during our time together - reminding you that there are always options to make you more comfortable, that you can ask for things to be different. That you can ask for support.
