Sly Stewart is not in “Presence”

Hello, hello, how are you? I’m doing well, thanks. I’ve also made a tentative inquiry about migrating this newsletter from Substack to Buttondown. Meaning, I’ve emailed their support team to find out I can import followers from this Substack to a new Buttondown account. I’ve read that paid subscribers can also be carried over, you just have to argue with a Substack chat-bot until it refers you to a human. Fun. Anyway, I'm working on it, ok??

In the meantime, I’ve provided some (not much) remote coverage of the Sundance Film Festival for The Wrap this year, as I have a couple times in the last few years. I was originally assigned to review a couple of movies, but only wound up writing up two since publicists were not as accommodating this year as they have been in the recent past. Go figure.
