A New Chapter for Exodus School of Expression

2026-02-21

Dear Community,

I’m writing to share an important shift.

Exodus School of Expression is now moving under the umbrella of Simone Studios.

This transition allows the different aspects of my practice — stewardship, art & design, and education — to sit in deeper conversation with one another rather than existing in parallel lanes. Over time, I’ve realized that these threads were never separate. Bringing them together under one studio home creates a more integrated, sustainable ecosystem for the work.

It also makes organizing simpler and more sustainable for me as a neurodivergent artist. Reducing fragmentation in how I hold platforms, projects, and communication allows me to focus more fully on the work itself — and on building intentional, long-term relationships with you.

I hope you’ll decide to continue this journey with me.

Another part of this decision is strategic. As AI policies across social media platforms continue to expand, platforms like Substack face sustained criticism for platforming neo-Nazi publications and extremist voices.

I’m being more thoughtful about where and how I share work. This will be the central channel for viewing new series and getting a view of my practice. A goal this year is to slowly migrate away from social media platforms.

My most recent focus has been the exhibition We Wove Reality, presented and featured on Critical Stuff Collective’s website. This body of work continues my exploration of world-building, materiality, and collective authorship — themes that have always been central to Exodus School of Expression.

You can view my new website, with a link to We Wove Reality, here!

There is more to come. New offerings. New writings. A slower, more deliberate rhythm.

Thank you for being here — whether you’ve been part of this work since Phase One or are just arriving now. Your presence matters.

With care,
Taylor Simone
